Admissions

An application for admissions may be obtained from the school and is required of each student before acceptance is considered. Any applicant falsifying any information on the application will be subject to dismissal.

BRSC accepts students only after a personal interview and an entrance examination. The interview is designed to help the student select the program best suited to his or her educational needs and employment goals.

Entrance Examination

E. F. Wonderlic and Associates has developed a scholastic test that is used by BRSC as an entrance level examination. All candidates in diploma and 2-year associate programs are required to take this examination. E. F. Wonderlic and Associates states their tests are EEO compatible.

Submission of a high school diploma or transcript indicating high school graduate status or GED passing scores are a requirement for students enrolling in any program.

Effective February 1, 1996, BRSC no longer accepts ATB students.

Registration

Registration of students is necessary after notification of acceptance. Schedules will be issued at orientation. All financial arrangements must be completed prior to the starting of the course.

Credit for Prior Training

Credit for previous education or prior training may be granted to incoming students if it is established that the level of training is equivalent to a given course or project. Students requesting admission with advanced standing will be tested to measure his / her current level of knowledge and then placed in a level of training commensurate with the evaluation of prior training.

Any request for credit for prior training must be submitted at the time that the student applies for entrance into the school. Credits will be deducted from the tuition. No credits after commencement of classes.

Enrollment

Applicants are accepted for Diploma Programs year round. Classes are scheduled to start every two weeks on Monday with the exception of holidays.

Applicants for two-year programs will be accepted approximately every three months.
